reopening information - Date Pending

Our reopening is fast approaching and we are busy getting ready for you. The policies from the state of New York and the CDC require us to follow strict guidelines to ensure all of our health and safety. We ask for your patience as we work on making this transition as smooth as possible.

Here it is:

​Scheduling: we are limited with the amount of people we can have in the space and can take one client at a time and are required to have a 15 minute break in between to clean and sanitize, as you can imagine that limits the amount of clients we can actually service. We are making ourselves available more hours and more days but please remember many of our stylist have children being homeschooled. We have extended hours to help accommodate the transition as well as planning special times for High Risk clients so please inquire. Your stylist has all intention to have a virtual consult with you prior to your appointment to add more value to your time. So between Cindy, your Stylist and the online booking system we are here to get the ball rolling.

Pre-Appointment:
  • Virtual Consultation-connect with your stylist to create a plan for your hair and future scheduled appointments to get you back on track.
  • NO ENTRY unless you answer NO to these Questions and signed waiver:
  • Have you had a cough or fever in the last 14 days?
  • Are you living with anyone with these symptoms?
  • Are you living with anyone in quarantine?
  • Have you traveled by plane in the last month?
  • Sign Waiver-(see attached)please bring signed waiver or prepare to sign on entry of appointment.

Appointment:
  • We will be adhering to a strict cancellation policy. You will be responsible for the full amount of service if you do not cancel within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time.
  • you may be asked to come with freshly washed and blown hair. Currently we are under a no blow dry rule which we have some creative ideas to offset this.
  • please come alone to appointment
  • please stay in your car, call salon or text stylist you are here, We will let you know when to come to front entrance.
  • please bring minimal belongings in, keys, phone, wallet.
  • please wear face mask (around ears style)
  • one of us will greet you at door, use hand sanitizer, get signed release, answered questions and Temperature.
  • wash hands for 20 seconds in rest room or hand sanitizer
  • guide you to your stylist station following social distancing paths and protocol.
  • please allow us to assist you with all your personal product needs, we are happy to shop for you.
  • payment: an envelope is provided for cash and checks. We will do CC over phone while you’re in salon to minimize contact.
  • cash tipping is appreciated
  • book future appointments either during virtual consult with stylist, phone with Cindy or on-line.

In Addition:
-$5 PPE fee will be applied
-We may have to charge a product fee for additional color needed to accommodate larger regrowth areas.

Although Massage Service has not been given the go yet we are preparing for it. It is exactly what we all need right now. We are blessed to have Shari on our team. I highly recommend her for when the time is right for you. This is one way to strengthen your immune system.

Tina is doing Energy Medicine Yoga virtually and schedules are posted on Simplicity Facebook. She offers private sessions too.

Our Intent:
The salon has been through some changes to accommodate the new protocol. A lot of furniture has been removed, no refreshment area for now, you will notice signs informing you of protocol, dividers for shampoo area, spaced work stations, minimal contact and social distancing.

The space has been cleaned and sanitized. We will be doing our part to clean and sanitize between each guest and at every touch point in salon.

Our team has to answer same questions as you and temperature check before coming into salon. We are required to where masks, goggles and or shields. Whatever protective coverings. Keeping fresh and clean throughout day with EPA approved cleaning products.

Our team is Certified by leading name in our industry for Cleanliness and Sanitation practices. We have always been mindful of a fresh clean cape and towel and now they will be placed in individual plastic zip loc bags fresh out of hot dryer. We do have disposable items if requested.

We will have 2 medical grade air purifiers to help support a non toxic anti viral environment.

Please be patient with the scheduling these next couple weeks. We are trying our best to make this easeful for all, at the same time dealing with protocols and guidelines from the government as well as dealing with back ordered items necessary to have. We do not want to be fined for breaking these rules. Our salon family and you and your families health and wellness are priority.

We understand that emergencies happen but we appreciate your effort to give us as much time as possible to book that time for someone else.
